Abstracts

In 2012, Metsä Tissue closed its mill in Mirków (Konstancin-Jeziorna), near Warsaw, and moved production to Krapkowice, close to Opole in southern Poland. According to a company announcement in 2011, Metsä Tissue was set to invest PLN55 million in the Krapkowice plant, the biggest one-time investment in its history. The new plant is expected to open in mid-2013. The planned investment is intended to strengthen the company’s offer to consumers.
