Quiksilver has developed new board shorts which incorporate compression technology, and Levi Strauss & Co has introduced a new denim apparel range called Commuter by Levi’s which is designed specifically for cyclists.

Karl Mayer has incorporated an eco-friendly dyeing process developed by Clariant International—called the Advanced Denim process—into its Indig-O-Matic machine system. HeiQ Materials has launched a new textile treatment, called Adaptive, which has dynamic properties that help wearers of garments made from Adaptive treated textiles to feel more comfortable during exercise.
