Logitech leads the market for WebCams with 36% share in 2008 which represents a combination of PC and OEM notebook installed devices. Creative Labs participates in the market for WebCams with 9% share in 2008. Microsoft participates in the market with 8% share. Philips was tilted toward security WebCams at 6% share in 2008 overall. Cisco dominates the webcam market for security products and participates in the overall webcam market with 4% share. D-Link emphasizes security applications and participates with 2% share.
