BASF to increase prices for extrusion polyamide polymer in NA

BASF will increase the price for Polyamide 6, Polyamide 6,6 and Polyamide 6/66 copolymer by $0.09 per pound, effective March 29, 2010, or as contracts permit.

This increase covers nylon polymer for spinning, extrusion, and compounding.

BASF Corporation, headquartered in Florham Park, New Jersey, is the North American affiliate of BASF SE, Ludwigshafen, Germany. BASF has approximately 16,000 employees in North America, and had sales of $13 billion in 2009.
