Kudelski SA Partners With Sigma Systems According to BAC Report

LONDON - NAGRA, a Kudelski Group company, recently announced its partner agreement with Sigma Systems, which engages in design of Advanced IP Service Fulfillment solutions. NAGRA has taken under its control Sigma Systems’ Subscriber Information Service platform (SIS). Still, Sigma Systems will be conducting product design, development and implementation of SIS for NAGRA.
SIS will enable NAGRA’s service providers the opportunity to gather information about customers, for example their location, age, gender, name and volumes of services that customers use. With such information providers can match every advertising segment with appropriate audience, increasing advertising effectiveness. SIS is multiplatform system, therefore it can be applied in multiscreen environment.
Company’s recent financial performance is not stable. Interim trends reflect a decrease in main indices, while annual results prove Kudelski growth. In H1 2011 revenue and net income fell down by 26.4% and 138% respectively, with the latter dropping CHF 12.5 M below zero point. FY 2010, on the contrary, shows flat revenue and improved net income (up 34.1%). The former amounted to CHF 1035.2 M and the latter equaled CHF 65.7 M.
Founded in 1951 and headquartered in Cheseaux (France), Kudelski SA through its subsidiaries operates in public access segment, digital TV segment, smart cards sectors, and audio products segment. It has offices in over 20 countries around the world, most located in Europe and Asia. It has been traded at SIX Swiss Exchange since 1999.
