Cytec Industries Inc. Is to Launch New Product Line According to BAC Report

LONDON - Cytec Industries recently announced its intention to launch a new production line for Cyabsorb Cyn-ergy Solutions stabilizers in Fengxian manufacturing site (Shanghai, China). The production is to start in the first quarter of 2012. Another company’s line – Cyabsorb UV-3853 light stabilizer – is also to gain volume.
The addition of a new product line will allow Asia Pacific customers to enjoy faster supply of Cytec high performance UV stabilizers. The new line is also designed to produce Cyabsorb Cynergy Solutions V703 stabilizer, which is used in Automotive Thermoplastic Olefin compounds. Together with recently announced manufacturing expansions in Willow Island, this new product line is supposed to respond customers’ needs more fully.
Company’s recent financial performance is good. The beginning of FY2011 appeared to be good, wit revenues and net incomes reaching USD 2748.3 M and USD 683.7 M respectively. FY2010 was also a success, reflecting revenues growth by 13% and net income recovery from minus position to USD 172.3 M.
