Vietnam is among the top 5 markets with the largest increase in air travel (only for direct flights). Aviation revenue continued to grow strongly over the years, the average growth rate in the period of 2013 - 2019 reached 19%. In terms of revenue structure, low-cost carriers are leading the air passenger market in Vietnam, and VietJet Air is leading. Vietnam's aviation is of low competition when the number of participating airlines is much lower than other countries in the region. The number of Vietnamese aircraft continued to increase over the years with CAGR in the period of 2011 - 2019 reaching 12.04%. International routes with 70 foreign airlines and 5 Vietnamese airlines (including Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific and Vietjet, Bamboo Airways and VASCO) are operating nearly 130 international routes between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. , Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Hai Phong to 28 countries and territories.
