This report forms part of Ovum’s KPI coverage. It seeks to compare the performance of a set of the world’s largest telcos by revenues/subscribers, analysing trends in their financial and operational metrics. It complements our quarterly KPI analysis, focusing instead on trends for the year ended December 2009 relating to:

• Revenues – total, fixed, and mobile, including the underlying subscriber trends for telco services
• Profitability – covering P&L profitability, and operational cost metrics
• Investment and debt – covering capital spending, cash flow, and balance sheet metrics
