Abstracts

The central Asian five countries link Asia with Europe and adjoin China’s northwest boundary, covering 3.98 million kilometers and with over 56 million inhabitants. This region where abounds in natural resources is called as the strategic resources base in 21st century. After a decade’s development, the economies of the five countries have grown steadily.

Benefited from fast-growing local economies, the telecom industry also develops rapidly in the five countries, in particular mobile sector. However, the central Asia telecom industry is still at the initial stage, needful of foreign investment. With the overseas strategies of Chinese telecom operators, central Asia will be an important targeted overseas market.
