“Nanometals” are a growing sector of the nanomaterials business that extend the uses of metals in electronics and energy markets in important ways. Building on the traditional role of metals in these sectors, metallic nanoparticles and nanostructures (nanowires, nanorods, nanospeheres, etc.) are bringing higher performance to traditional electronics applications such as PCBs, giving nanometals immediate revenue potential.
