Tallinn City Review
In 2012, Tallinn produced 60% of Estonia's GDP and hosted 556,000 people. Tallinn is the major centre of business services in Estonia including accounting, consulting and IT activities. The city also benefits from its port, which is the third largest in the Baltic Sea region. Altogether, this gives Tallinn an immense labour productivity advantage over the rest of Estonia. Tallinn concentrates most of Estonia's wealthy households, namely 57% of Estonia's total with income over US$100,000 in 2012.
