Jerusalem City Review
Jerusalem is an economically vibrant metropolis. Between 2007 and 2012, its real GDP rose by 3.4% per year, partly due to the growing economic role of the business services sector. The city's high tech industrial parks also contribute to Jerusalem's economic growth. However, Jerusalem's complex history reveals itself in the mainly Arab-populated eastern part still being an economic and social laggard. This has implications for the city's job market, housing and general lifestyle.
