Dual-wavelength atomic absorption spectrophotometer is based on time-resolved photometry technology. On a single-beam instrument with low dispersion rate, a hollow cathode lamp (HCL) is used as the light source, which can be used as the light source for atomic absorption and background measurement. The instrument automatically deducts the background absorption by differential processing signals, thereby improving the accuracy and sensitivity of the measurement. This instrument can use two beams of monochromatic light of different wavelengths to detect samples simultaneously or alternately, and is particularly suitable for the analysis of multi-component mixed samples, turbid samples and samples with large background absorption. The working principle of dual-wavelength atomic absorption spectrophotometer is based on the atomic absorption phenomenon. When gaseous free atoms are irradiated with light of a specific wavelength, they will absorb it. This absorption is proportional to the concentration of a specific element in the sample. The instrument can calculate the content of the element to be measured in the sample by measuring the intensity of the absorbed light. The introduction of dual-wavelength technology enables the instrument to more accurately deduct background absorption, thereby improving measurement accuracy.
