In May 2023, the Group of Seven (G7), including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Italy, and Canada, held their annual summit in Hiroshima, Japan. Due to the ongoing influence of the United States on its democratic allies, and its efforts to impose technological containment on China in recent years, the stance of these countries towards China received significant attention during the G7 Hiroshima Summit. Ultimately, the G7 opted for the more moderate term 'de-risking' instead of the more controversial term 'decoupling' in their joint statement, setting the tone for future strategies towards China. This report explores the implications of the 'China Plus One' strategy and examines the future development of the ICT industry based on both supply chain- and market-oriented thinking.
1. "CHINA PLUS ONE" HAS BECOME THE NEW NORM

2. SUPPLY CHAIN-ORIENTED THINKING: SOUTHEAST ASIA IS THE PREFERRED CHOICE DUE TO PROXIMITY TO CHINA

3. MARKET-ORIENTED THINKING: INDIA AND THE UNITED STATES DEMONSTRATE MASSIVE MARKET DEMAND
