Chinese wheat starch industry developed stable with a slow growth rate in 2012. The output of the wheat starch was 225 million tons, which is 0.45% growth YOY. In the starch manufacturing industry, the average growth rate was 1.92% and the output was 2.1 million tons.
Chinese starch industry has turned to green and low-pollution since government’s “five-year project”. The current industrial capacity has exceeded 30 million tons yearly, and the trend is keep growing.
