Kuwait Airways is Kuwait’s national carrier with its headquarters located at the International Airport of Kuwait, which is at the South of Kuwait City on a distance of 15.5 km. The airline operates across various continents including North America, South East Asia, Europe, Indian Subcontinent and the Middle East. It is a well renowned airline. The carrier was founded by a team of businesspersons from Kuwait in the year 1953 (Kassem and Habib, 1989). As of February of 2017, the company is now owned by the Kuwaiti government.
