Segments

The company operates in two primary segments, Training Services Group (TSG) and Control Systems Group (CSG).

The Training Services Group designs, manufactures, and sells training services, which includes software driven products and services used to create and monitor the physiological effects of flight; jet tactical flight simulation, and; driving and disaster simulation systems. Product categories included in TSG are Aircrew Training Systems (ATS) and flight simulators, disaster management systems and entertainment applications.

The Control Systems Group includes steam and gas sterilization; testing and simulation devices for the automotive industry, and hyperbaric and hypobaric chambers. CSG includes sterilizers, environmental control devices and hyperbaric chambers along with parts and service support.

Subsidiaries

The company has four operating subsidiaries. Entertainment Technology Corporation, its wholly owned subsidiary, is a Pennsylvania corporation that focuses on the development, manufacturing and distribution of its entertainment products. ETC-PZL Aerospace Industries, its 95%-owned subsidiary, is a Polish corporation that manufactures simulators. ETC-Europe, its 99%-owned subsidiary, is a United Kingdom corporation that focuses on generating international sales. NASTAR Center LLC is its wholly owned Delaware subsidiary which houses its NASTAR Center.

Customers

The company sells its aircrew training systems principally to U.S. and foreign governmental agencies. Its products are also sold domestically to commercial customers. Internationally, its customers are primarily located in Saudi Arabia, Korea, Malaysia and Turkey.
