With the growing demands of energy around the world, renewable energy has carved an important place for itself in the global energy stable. All forms of renewable energies such as wind, solar, geothermal, etc., are growing on a yearly basis and the year 2010 was no different.

In spite of the global recession, renewable energy projects witnessed strong growth and there were many large projects which were completed during the year. While several big renewable energy projects are still on the way, the completion of various megaprojects in 2010 has brought renewable energy to the forefront once again.

This white paper explores the Largest Renewable Energy Projects in 2010.

The paper analyzes large projects in the wind power industry, solar PV industry, geothermal energy industry, and the hydro power industry. While the US remained a frontrunner in the renewable energy industry, many of these megaprojects were completed outside of the U.S., many in developing countries such as Ethiopia, Vietnam, etc.

This white paper analyzes the various details of each project, along with the developers of that project, and the impact it is going to have on the overall renewable energy industry.
