The company, in addition to supplying approximately 75,000 different stock keeping units (SKUs) of standard fasteners and fittings from stock, manufactures custom cold headed products, metal stampings, screw machine products, self-locking fasteners, as well as a range of custom parts for the automotive, agriculture, electronic and appliance industries.

The company also produces and supplies a range of stainless and non-ferrous fasteners for standard and custom requirements of the marine, pulp and paper, chemical, and processing industries.

The company services approximately 6,000 customers. The sales divisions of the company service industrial distributors, hardware wholesalers, big box retailers, original equipment manufacturers, plumbing and heating distributors, the automotive aftermarket, and other fastener consumers.

The Packaging Operation is responsible for the pre-packaging of smaller quantities of products to meet the specific needs of the company¡¯s customers. Typical packages include clamshells, blister cards, skin cards, cardboard boxes, and bags. This department also assembles fasteners into approximately 400 different assorted containers, bins, and drawers.

The Dominion Fittings division manufactures propane hose assemblies, and distributes a line of approximately 10,000 steel and brass fittings, valves, tubing, hose, and tube working tools. The company¡¯s Gas Products line includes the distribution of a line of valves, regulators, and accessories for the natural and propane gas industries. Various markets served by the company include propane and natural gas, plumbing, hardware, automotive aftermarkets, and industrial distributors and users.

The Capital Metal Industries (CMI) division is a metal forming operation, producing parts by cold heading, metal stamping, and nut forming. The products manufactured fall into two areas, fasteners and stampings manufactured to customer specifications; and the proprietary line of ¡®Easy Spot¡¯ weld fasteners and leg levellers. The CMI division is a supplier of specialty fasteners for both the United States and Canadian markets.

The Precision Fasteners division is a cold heading operation, manufacturing screws in the size range of No. 4 through ¨ü inch diameter up to 3¨ö inches in length. Major products include deck screws, thread cutting screws, window frame screws, and automotive screws. Metals used in products manufactured by the division include steel, stainless steel, and silicon bronze. The sales for this division are made to the construction market, industrial original equipment manufacturers, fastener distributors, electrical equipment manufacturers, and automotive parts suppliers. Its customers are located mainly in Canada.

Pro-Tip, the company¡¯s small tool division, provides a range of industrial power driver bits, drivers, nutsetters, tool accessories, and tool kits, as well as manufactures a line of square drive bits and drivers. Its customers include retail hardware stores and industrial and automotive aftermarket distributors.

The Jeyco Machine Products division is a screw machine operation specializing in the manufacture of custom components machined from bar stock. The primary types of equipment used are rotary transfer machines, multi spindle and single spindle automatic screw machines, and computer numerically controlled lathes ranging in capacity from ¨û inch to 2 inches in diameter. Customers are automotive subcontractors, electronic, furniture, and outdoor equipment manufacturers.

The Long-Lok division is a manufacturing operation that converts standard fasteners into self-locking and self-sealing fasteners. This division also processes fasteners, fittings, and other components with a Teflon-based sealant to prevent leakage. Industries serviced by Long-Lok are the automotive and industrial original equipment manufacturers. Applications for its products include automotive engines, snow blowers, lawnmowers, and playground equipment.
