Global Hydrolyzed Inositol Market 2026 by Manufacturers, Regions, Type and Application, Forecast to 2032
According to our (Global Info Research) latest study, the global Hydrolyzed Inositol market size was valued at US$ 136 million in 2025 and is forecast to a readjusted size of US$ 212 million by 2032 with a CAGR of 6.4% during review period.
In 2025, sales of hydrolyzed inositol reached 12,568 tons, with an average price of $10,523 per ton.
Hydrolyzed inositol refers to free inositol (mainly myo-inositol) obtained from phytic acid (inositol hexaphosphate) in plants (rice bran, corn) through hydrolysis, decolorization, desalination, crystallization, and drying under high temperature, high pressure, or enzymatic catalysis. It can be used as a food/feed fortifier or pharmaceutical intermediate, providing animals with water-soluble B vitamins and promoting lipid metabolism and cell signaling.
The mainstream process uses crude phytic acid (containing 40%–50% inositol hexaphosphate) extracted from defatted rice bran or corn soaking water as the core raw material. After high-pressure acid hydrolysis at 190–230 °C and 20–28 kg cm??, the product is obtained through ion exchange decolorization, desalination, concentration, and crystallization. In terms of raw material costs, phytic acid/soaking water accounts for 35%–40%, steam and electricity consumption accounts for 20%, auxiliary materials such as acids, alkalis, and resins account for 15%, and labor, environmental protection, and packaging account for 25%.
