Midstream manufacturing involves wafer processing, lithography, etching, mirror coating via sputtering or ion-beam deposition, cavity spacing control, and precision alignment and bonding, often in cleanroom environments. Downstream, Fabry–P?rot microresonators are integrated into tunable optical filters, sensors, lasers, and photonic modules, which are then supplied to end users in telecom, metrology, scientific instrumentation, aerospace, and advanced research markets.
