Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) got incorporated in 1992 as the content supplier for ZEE TV. The company was previously known as Zee Telefilms Limited. ZEEL is the first to launch Hindi GEC, Hindi Cinema Channel and a 24 hour news channel in India. It was the first one to start MOS operation on national level. Today the company has more than 500million viewers in 167 countries and the total number of employees are more than 1150.

Indian median & entertainment industry is expected to grow at a CAGR of 14% over 2010 to 2015. The regional media segment is growing at a fast rate. This growth is lead by tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
