Aier Eye Hospital Group Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Aier Eye, 300015.SZ), established in 2003, is a private ophthalmic service company with chain operation across China. In October, 2009, Aier Eye was traded on Shenzhen Stock Exchange and became the first listed ophthalmic medical service company in the A-Share market.
During Jan.-Jun.2011, the outpatient volume of Aier Eye reached 628 thousand person-times, up 36.6% YoY; the surgical volume registered 72 thousand operations, up 39.2% YoY; while in 2010, the total outpatient volume hit 1.036 million person-times, increasing by 30.0% year-on-year, and surgical volume reached 122 thousand operations, rising by 35.5% year-on-year.
