Evonik: Plans to up the price of “Visiomer” MMA

From 1 March 2010 onwards, Evonik Industries (Essen / Germany; www.evonik.com) will raise the prices of its “Visiomer” methyl methacrylate (MMA) by EUR 140/t in Europe. In the rest of the world, excluding the NAFTA region, the price of this particular grade, the direct feedstock for PMMA, will increase by USD 195/t.

Evonik said its US subsidiary, Evonik Cyro, would communicate price increases for the NAFTA region separately.
