Evonik to raise price for carbon black pigments & pigment preparations

The Inorganic Materials Business Unit of Evonik Industries, Essen, is increasing prices for carbon black pigments and pigment preparations by up to 9 percent depending on the product.
The price increase will be effective for all deliveries on or after March 1, 2010. Evonik is the world's second largest producer of carbon black pigments (furnace carbon black, lamp black, gas black and thermal black).
