Dow Announces Vinyl Acetate Monomer Price Increase

Dow Performance Monomers announced that it will increase the off schedule price globally for Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM), effective February 1, 2010, or as contracts allow.

This increase is in addition to the increase effective January 1, 2010. Cumulative Increase Implemented February 1, 2010:

• North America: US$0.09/lb
• Latin America: US$200/MT
• Western Europe: Euro 70/MT
• India, Middle East, Africa: US$190/MT
• Pacific: US$190/MT
