Dow Europe GmbH announces price increase for PS, ABS, SAN, and EPS grades

Dow Europe GmbH (Horgen, Switzerland) announced that effective January 5, 2010, or as contract terms allow, it is increasing its prices by €170/tonne for a number of plastics based on styrene. The price hikes affect processors across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. Materials affected include all Dow Europe’s general-purpose and high-impact Styron-brand polystyrene grades, its Styron A-Tech advanced polystyrene grades, the Magnum ABS grades, Tyril SAN grades, and Sconapor EPS grades.
