Chinese EPR Market Discussed by AMID in Its New research Report Now Available at MarketPublishers.com

04 Apr 2016 • by Natalie Aster

LONDON – Ethylene propylene copolymer (or ethylene propylene rubber) is a kind of synthetic rubber made by copolymerising ethylene and propylene, typically combined with other chemical compounds. Alongside elastic properties, ethylene-propylene copolymers exhibit superior resistance to electricity and ozone and a capability of being processed with a range of additives. They are converted into products for usage in motorcar engines, electric wiring, and building and construction.

There are 2 main types of EPRs with elastic properties: those produced with ethylene and propylene alone and those created with slight amounts (close to 5%) of adiene – typically ethylidene norbornene (ENB) or 1,4-hexadiene (HD). The copolymers contain nearly 60% by weight ethylene.

Over the last 20 years, China's EPR industry has been in rapid evolution. The rigorous expansions of the production capabilities and increased levels of consumer consumption in China have reformed the country’s economy and society. China is one of the leading producers of consumer and industrial products across the world. Far outstripping other economies globally, China is the world's most rapidly evolving market for the consumption of services and goods. The national economy keeps on recording explosive growth which has been fuelled by the incessant increases of industrial production, exports and imports, consumer consumption and fixed capital investment for more than couple of decades. Fast-paced consolidation between mid- and large-sized players is expected since China’s government has been promoting industry consolidation with a view to regulating the industry and enhancing competitiveness in the worldwide marketplace.

New research study “Ethylene Propylene Copolymer or Rubber (EPR) Markets in China” created by AMID presents an unbiased analysis of the Chinese EPR marketplace. The report casts light on China's economic outlook as well as financial and tax regulations. Then it deeply analyses the industry, covering evolution with years; industry structure; production, capacity and demand; marketing channels; top industry participants’ profiles, their facilities and market shares; key end-users; major foreign investments; potential entrants; technology advancements; product prices, etc. A variety of pivotal marketing strategies are reviewed in the study as well.

Industry historical figures are available for 2005, 2010 and 2015; and long-term forecasts are presented to 2020 and through to 2025-end.
