Petrofac’s New Project in Nova Scotia

LONDON – Petrofac will work with the government of Nova Scotia on identifying the ways forward to exploiting its ultra-deepwater oil potential. According to the contract, Petrofac should investigate prospects of oil reservoir 3,000 metres beneath the seabed which is also in 2,000 metres of water. This multi-discipline integrated project is expected to be completed in early 2015.

As for FY 2013, Company’s revenue totalled USD 6,329.0 million, an increase of 1.43% compared with USD 6.24 billion in 2012. Also the gross profit climbed 8.18% to over USD 1.16 billion in FY2013, up from just above USD 1 billion in FY2012. Operating income increased to USD 771 million and company’s Net income boosted to USD 650 million.
