Mexican Wealth Sector Covered in New Insightful WealthInsight Report Now Available at

LONDON - In 2013, the number of Mexican HNWIs surpassed the 146,300 mark, with the total wealth estimated at USD 801 billion.  Local HNWIs held over 20 percent f their wealth (USD 178 million) not in their home country.

Local HNWI numbers increased by approximately 1 percent in 2013. The growth is forecast to improve in the upcoming years and it is expected to be about 12 percent. As a result, the number of HNWIs is likely to amount to almost 167,720 in 2018 and the total wealth may reach USD 1.04 trillion in the same year.

In Mexico, the number of UHNWIs was more than 2,500 in 2013, thus accounting for roughly 2 percent of the local HNWI population. In 2018, the number of UHNWIs is forecast to be over 2,950.
