LONDON – In spite of the slowdown in 2009, domestic and inbound tourist volumes in Chile increased during 2008–2012, posting around 7.15% and 2.75% CAGRs, respectively. It is expected that tourist stays in the country will increase to 3.66 days on average, whilst average expenditure per day will likely rise to USD 190 by end-2021.
