Taiwanese Cards & Payments Sector Scrutinised in New Topical Timetric Study Published at MarketPublishers.com

LONDON – Taiwan’s card payments channel grew at a moderate pace during the review period. In terms of the number of cards in circulation, the sector expanded at just over 2.4% CAGR to reach 119mn in 2012. The growth was driven by the country’s strong banking infrastructure and consumers’ move towards cashless payments. Card volume is forecast to record nearly 2.5% CAGR during the forecast period, to reach 135.8mn by 2017.
