LONDON – With the growing economy and urbanisation rates, as well as the rapid development of the automotive and tire industries in China in the past decade, the country’s demand for synthetic rubber will keep on mushrooming in return up to 2017.

By end-2012, China’s synthetic rubber production capacity and output volume surpassed 4mn tonnes and 3.6mn tonnes, respectively.
