IFS AB Acquires Metrix LLC According to BAC Company Report

LONDON – End of May IFS announced its acquisition of Metrix LLC, a provider of advanced Service Management & Mobility Software from Waukesha (Wisconsin). This purchase will further increase IFS’ strength in Mobility & Service Management application market. Metrix is designed for various deployment options (like SaaS or On-premise) therefore improving IFS cloud systems. IFS expects this acquisition to be profitable in 2012.
IFS has been showing robust performance in the last years. 2011 was market by operations optimization: revenue declined by 0.3% to SEK 2.58 B, gross profit improved by 4.9% to SEK 1.24 B, operating income added 5.4% to its previous value and amounted SEK 233 M, net income reached SEK 156 M which is a 16.4% increase. Q1 2012 results reflect seasonal slowdown with revenue of SEK 643 M, gross profit of SEK 281 M, operating income of 12 M, and net income of SEK 6 M. Despite the ongoing uncertainty in the financial markets IFS enjoys faster growth of sales pipeline compared to the same period last year.
