LONDON – Across all the 15 European countries surveyed, the premium data centre is forecast to account for a growing share of the overall data centre market from 28% at the end of 2012 up to 40% by the end of 2017. On the back of the demand from a range of telecoms, content and enterprise users, both carrier neutral and carrier based data centres are seeing growth in space and pricing, but the premium data centre represents the fastest growth segment with a need for cloud computing and high density blade servers.
