Baidu, Inc. Releases its Financial Results According to BAC Company Report

LONDON – According to a recent press-release, Baidu showed strong performance both in Q4 and FY 2011. The quarter ended with revenue of CNY 4.5 B, operating income of CNY 2.3 B, net income of CNY 2.1 B and profit margin of 45.9%. The quarter appeared to be the most successful for the company to the date. The increase in active online marketing customers (311 thousands to the date) drove the successful quarter. Revenue per one customer comprised CNY 14.4 K. Almost all revenues were generated in China.
Annual results uncover a rapid growth of the company’s financial indices. In 2011 revenue added 83.2% to equal CNY 14.5 B, gross profit rose by 83.8% and amounted 10.6 B, operating income was 91.4% higher and equaled CNY 7.6 B, net income reached CNY 6.6 B (up 88.3%). Revenue per one customer comprised CNY 29.7 K. During the year Baidu had 488 thousand active online marketing customers.
