iiNet Ltd. Presents Networking For SMEs According to BAC Report

LONDON – Late October Australia-based internet and phone network provider iiNet announced launch of its first series of mobile devices and service plans for small and medium businesses. Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy S II and Alcatel OT99 are those three Android handsets being sold under new plans.

The lower monthly payment limit is AUD 8, allowing basic services (cover calls and texts), while the upper one exceeds AUD 100, enabling all special features like 3G data, social network access, iiNet to iiNet value call, Business Voice, and others.

iiNet plans to expand devices range in future, choosing from Android-based smartphones only.

Company financial performance is strong, sustained by broad product portfolio and growing demand. In H1 2011 revenue and net income reached AUD 369.4 M and AUD 21.1 M respectively, which is 12% and 71.5% better than H2 2010. Annual results are even better, with both indices increasing year over year. For the past four years revenue and net income increased by 178.3% and 67.8% respectively, and in FY 2010 amounted to AUD 699.1 M and AUD 33.4 M.

Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Cloisters Square (WA, Australia), iiNet engages in provision of telecommunications and DSL internet service. It is second Australian ISP acknowledged by numerous awards. Its comprehensive product portfolio allowed the company to successfully compete and dominate the market, expanding further in the country. Since 1999 iiNet is registered at Australian Stock Exchange.
