Palram Industries (1990) Ltd. to Install New Polycarbonate Line According to BAC Report

LONDON – In Summer 2011 Palram Industries Ltd. announced that its Allentown plant would get an extended capacity with totally new high-speed polycarbonate extrusion line. The project is estimated of USD 3.6 M; it is planned to set 40 new vacancies apart from retaining current 202 jobs. Palram is also going to move its main warehouse from current position to Allentown plant.
Palram financial performance is flat. In quarter view main indices undergo certain seasonality, going up in Summer season and falling down in Winter cold. FY 2010 brought increased revenues (up 10.7%) and decreased net income (down 73.8%). The numbers were ILS 1032.4 M and ILS 15.7 M respectively.
