Batla Minerals Develops SAR Infrastructure According to BAC Report

07 Oct 2011 • by Natalie Aster

LONDON – Batla Minerals through its wholly-owned Lesotho-based subsidiary Alluvian Ventures invests in South African future. Currently the company has two major projects running: Lucky's Kitchen and Moloi's Transport.

Lucky's Kitchen engages in catering business and has a main goal of becoming a well-known food service provider. Alluvian granted a long-term service contract to the small caterer owning Lucky’s Kitchen. Full loan has already been repaid by now, and the business has grown into a company serving 240 different meals every day, and employing 7 permanent and several part-time workmen.

Moloi's Transport is a transportation provider owned solely by black people. Its founder, Lehase Moloi, has been trained by Alluvian to do business. He also got a truck from Alluvian as a capital investment. Now Moloi has 2 permanent workmen employed.

These two specific investments will help Batla strengthen local infrastructure, improve area sustainability and supply chain.

Batla’s financial activities still bring no profit. The company is young, and its mining sites only begin to generate revenues. Several sites are still under development and will get started in the coming years. So it is still early to judge company’s financial performance. Currently only Letseng site operates to the full and is gaining turnover. In 2010 company’s revenues were EUR 5.5 M.

Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Boujan sur Libron (Frqance), Batla Minerals engages in mining activities in South Africa. It has several sites, but only one operates normally; all others are still under maintenance. Mined minerals: diamonds, tungsten, molybdenum, Coalbed Methane and uranium. Batla also develops infrastructure in the region, building roads and setting electricity wired network. Since 2007 Batla has been trading at Paris SE.

Further details on the company’s mining activities, work sites, financials and competitors can be found in the report “Batla Minerals Fundamental Company Report Including Financial, SWOT, Competitors and Industry Analysis” recently published by Market Publishers Ltd.
