United Anodisers is Expected to Grow Because of Global Demand Expanding According to BAC Report

LONDON – In 2011 United Anodisers is expected to grow as anodizing business shows positive trends for demand. The slowdown in sales seen in the end of FY2010 was a marker of temporary shortage in metals supply. Financial crisis led to decreased supply capacity, and companies were not ready to a demand growth. UK construction and building market just started recovering from the crisis; on the contrary other European markets are steadily increasing their demand and supply. Therefore United Anodisers witnesses revenues increase from international segment, but has low results in UK.
The continuous anodising segment has showed a dynamic development in H1 2011. Company’s revenues in Q2 2011 came to EUR 6.7 M, a 31.6% increase comparing to Q2 2010. In H1 2011 sales totalled EUR 12.5 (plus 23.5% to the result of H1 2010). Net sales for the last quarter and half year amounted EUR 8.4 M and EUR 15.9 M respectively.
The batch anodising segment appeared to be profitable both in the UK and international markets, urged by rapidly developing building and architecture sectors.
2010 was a recovery year for United Anodisers. 2008 financial crisis was the largest hardship for the company to endure. The price for aluminum collapsed, and net revenues dropped below zero. However, in 2010 revenue and net income reached EUR 23.3 M and EUR 1.2 M respectively.
Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Fourqueux (France), United Anodisers engages in industrial anodising of aluminum, serving architecture and construction industries. The company presents a wide product portfolio, offering anodized aluminum in over 40 different colors. The company is listed on Euronext Paris Eurolist C since June 1996.
