Lock&Lock Takes Care About Customers’ Health According to BAC Report

LONDON – Founded in 1978 this Korea-based packaging and container company takes customers safety seriously. Lock&Lock remains competitive among other companies by using eco-friendly materials that would not harm environment or consumers’ health.
Recently Lock&Lock announced that it will launch new eco-friendly materials series – new plastics product called BISfree. The series uses the newest environmentally safe material Tritan. It does not contain bisphenol A (BPA), thus will not have an impact on the environment or human body. The material possesses fine transparency, durability, hardness, anti-odor and anti-fouling properties. Tritan belongs to a new generation of safe and high-quality materials. Bisfree products will have glass-like transparent structure, hit resistance, firmness. They can be sterilized with hot water rinsing, microwaving, refrigerating, dishwashing. They do not lose color or transparency after long use and carry Lock&Lock secure lids.
Company’s financial trends are strong. All indices grow from year to year. In 2010 revenues and net income increase amounted KRW 108289.7 M and KRW 20379.4 M, which is 39% and 43% up respectively. Four-year trend shows revenue and net income growth by 174% and 363% respectively.
Latest financial results (March 31 2011) show KRW 108451.3 M of revenue which is more that the same period of 2010. Net income amounts KRW 12014.8 M and faces a slight decrease comparing to 2010.
