LONDON - Despite the world crisis, Indian home appliances industry did not slow down in the last four years because Indian consumers usually pay cash (while most sales in developed countries are paid by debit or credit cards, and loans). Gandhimathi Appliances, the industry’s leader, used this opportunity to the full: it showed stable growth during the last three years. Moreover, now the company is strong enough to penetrate foreign markets, where it can occupy “low-price but high-quality” niche.
Company’s financial indices keep an upward trend. The simple analysis of financial results shows, that in the following nine months company’s revenues and net profit will exceed the indices of 18-month period ended 30.06.2010. Plain doubling of the March ‘11 results reveals an uprising trend. Revenues will go up by 64.33% and net income will grow by 80.56%.
Gandhimathi Appliances, owners of the ‘Butterfly’ brand, is an Indian-based manufacturer of home appliances. It was the first to introduce Stainless Steel Appliances and acquire the ISO 9002 standard. Now the enterprise enjoys leading position in India.
Gandhimathi maintains relations with foreign organizations and individuals to improve its processes and business and make them internationally competitive. The Butterfly brand starts gaining customers recognition in various countries of Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and Middle East.
