The notion “aniline” refers to a colorless, oily, poisonous liquid with a repulsive odor and burning aromatic taste. Aniline (otherwise called aminobenzene) has the molecular formula of C6H5NH2. It ignites readily, slowly oxidizes and resinifies in air. Aniline is mainly produced from benzene during the two-step chemical reaction. However, some manufacturers choose another production process requiring phenol and ammonia as a feedstock.
About 85% of aniline produced worldwide is used in the manufacture of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate. Besides, it is utilized in the production of plastics, pharmaceuticals, and explosives. The US, Asia-Pacific region and Europe consume more than 88% of aniline available of the global market.
The Catalogue contains research reports offering comprehensive analyses of the aniline market. The reports disclose information related to price changes, production volumes, and export and import ratios. Detailed reviews of the past and current situation on the market are available in the researches. The reports also provide profiles of the major aniline market participants.
