The midstream consists of specialized precision resistor/resistor-network manufacturers that deposit films on substrates, pattern them, laser-trim to target values, screen for matching parameters, and package them into quad matched resistor devices. Downstream, high-end analog module makers, industrial control and test-measurement OEMs, telecom/networking equipment vendors, medical electronics, and automotive electronics (e.g., sensor-signal conditioning modules) purchase these parts in volume.
