NOx analyzers are analytical instruments used to measure the concentration of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in ambient air or industrial exhaust gases. Nitrogen oxides typically include nitric oxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO?), which are major pollutants generated during combustion processes and have significant impacts on air quality, human health, and environmental ecosystems. These analyzers provide continuous monitoring and quantitative measurement of NOx concentrations and are widely used in environmental monitoring and emission control systems.

Upstream includes suppliers of gas detection sensors and chemiluminescence detection modules, optical component manufacturers, electronic control and signal processing chip providers, gas sampling and conditioning system suppliers and precision instrument structural component producers. Core detection modules and optical components account for a significant portion of cost, followed by gas sampling systems and electronic data processing units. For high-precision analyzers, detector stability and calibration systems play a critical role in both cost and performance.

Downstream applications include government environmental monitoring stations, industrial flue gas emission monitoring systems, power plant and chemical facility emission control systems, vehicle emission testing centers and environmental research institutions. In urban air quality monitoring networks, these analyzers track NOx concentration changes over time to support pollution control policies. In industrial applications, they are mainly used for regulatory emission monitoring and optimization of pollution control equipment.

Industry trends focus on higher sensitivity detection technologies, compact online monitoring devices, automated calibration systems and integration with remote data transmission and cloud-based monitoring platforms.
