Ryanair Holdings plc, through its subsidiary, Ryanair Limited, operates a scheduled-passenger airline serving short-haul, point-to-point routes between Ireland, the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, and Morocco.

The company provides various ancillary services and engages in other activities connected with its air passenger service, including non-flight scheduled services, Internet-related services, and the in-flight sale of beverages, food, and merchandise.

The company primarily distributes accommodation services and travel insurance through its Web site. For hotel services, it has a contract with Booking.com, pursuant to which Booking.com handles all aspects of such services marketed through its Website. It also has contracts with other accommodation providers that enable it to offer camping, hostel, bed-and-breakfast, guesthouse, villa, and apartment accommodation to its customers.

The company also has a contract with the Hertz Corporation (Hertz), pursuant to which Hertz handles car rental services marketed through Ryanair’s Web site or telephone reservation system. In 2009, the company started to offer its passengers the possibility of receiving an SMS (text message) when booking.

In 2009, the company signed a contract with Webloyalty International Ltd, which offers its customers who have a U.K., German or French billing address a retail discount and cash-back programme.
