Automotive Flex Fuel Composition Sensor, also known as Ethanol Content Sensor, is a fuel composition detection sensor used in the fuel system of flex fuel vehicles. It is mainly installed in the fuel line to detect the ethanol content in gasoline and usually also measures fuel temperature. The sensor transmits the ethanol percentage signal to the ECU or engine management system, enabling the engine to automatically adjust fuel injection volume, ignition timing, boost pressure, and other control strategies according to different fuel blends, so as to adapt to regular gasoline, E10, E20, E85, and other ethanol-gasoline fuels.
