High-voltage general-purpose operational amplifiers are linear amplifier ICs designed to operate from higher supply voltages, typically 30 V, 36 V, 40 V or above, or from dual supplies such as plus/minus 15 V to plus/minus 20 V. They are used for signal amplification, buffering, filtering, active control loops, sensor signal conditioning, current and voltage monitoring, and industrial analog front ends.
