Costco is not yet present Ireland. Costco is the global leader in warehouse clubs and the key player in the channel in the UK; however, it does not currently operate any outlets in Ireland. Nonetheless, there have been consistent rumours of the company’s impending expansion into Ireland, although there has not yet been any actual moves seen on behalf of the company. It is considered unlikely that Costco will open any outlets in Ireland before at least 2020.
