They are combined with diaphragm materials such as EPDM, PTFE, and TFM, and manual, pneumatic, electric, or automated control actuators to achieve switching, sampling, discharge, diversion, and process isolation of media such as water for injection, purified water, aseptic solution preparation, biological reaction solutions, cleaning solutions, steam, high-purity chemical solutions, and ultrapure water.

From a demand structure perspective, biopharmaceuticals remain the core growth driver, especially with monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, recombinant proteins, cell and gene therapy, sterile injectables, and high-end solution preparation systems creating a continuous demand for low-retention valves.
